Camera Obscura

1. Yes, we were able to contract a light-proof box.

2. As the frame was moved closer to the pinhole, the image became larger. As the frame was moved farther away, the image became smaller.

3. The most significant challenge was using the knife to cut the cardboard in the shape of a square.

4. I would use a slightly larger box to ensure a light-proof environment.

5. As the frame was moved closer, the lens captures a larger image because there was a larger gap. As the frame was moved farther away, the lens captures a smaller image because there was a smaller gap.

6. My team did an excellent job of coordinating and sharing work equally between all three team members.

History of Photography

1. The first permanent photograph was created in 1826. It is amazing to think that people were taking photographs that long ago. Nearly two hundred years later, photographs are still relevant.

2.  The invention of the photograph changed the way history was remembered, and allowed people to keep their memories in a physical form. Photographs allow people to hold certain moments forever.

3. The daguerreotype photograph was one of the first ways to capture an image. However, it took several hours of waiting for the actual photograph to be produced. This was an inefficient yet effective way for people to take photographs.
